India has managed to win all 6 games in the white-ball series, whitewashing West Indies in the ODIs as well as the T20s under the leadership of the newly-appointed captain of team India – Rohit Sharma.
Rohit has been successfully named the all-format captain for team India after Virat dropped his position of captaincy to focus more on his natural game without any responsibility or pressure.
India will be going to play again in Sri Lanka without Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli, as they have been rested and will directly play the Test series against the visitors.
Whereas Ravindra Jadeja gets a call back to the team after a long time, along with Sanju Samson, as a backup wicket-keeper. Deepak Hooda will continue to travel with team India. Deepak Chahar’s hamstring injury remains a question, whether he will be included in the playing XI.
Jasprit Bumrah comes back with the responsibility of vice-captaincy as he will be assisting Rohit in sharing the leadership pressure in the upcoming series against India.
