Sri Lankan bowlers were left to guess the weakness of Rishabh Pant after the wicket-keeper batsman struck Embuldeniya for 22 runs in an over. And since then the explosive self of Rishabh Pant kept delivering every over into the stands. After being promoted at 5, Rishabh Pant has scored 96 off just 97 balls while striking nine 4s and four 6s at a strike rate of 104.49 in today’s innings. His innings have put India in a driver’s seat, helping the team cross the 300 mark on day one itself.
