Rohit and his teammates will face Sri Lanka in India, beginning with a T20 series, and are training hard to win yet another series with domination, similar to how they humiliated the West Indies.

Since the T20 World Cup is approaching this year in October, Rohit has been seen experimenting with a variety of adjustments and scenarios as the management and skipper aim to bring out the best in the team.

Following a devastating defeat in the last competition, India may be putting their preparations in place for this year’s T20 World Cup with vigour.

These modifications could be implemented in India’s forthcoming series against Sri Lanka –

1. In one of the games, Sanju Samson might be promoted to play the first inning.

2. Ravindra Jadeja might be promoted up the order to offer him a greater shot at batsmanship.

3. Venkatesh Iyer’s bowling in the last T20 match against the West Indies wowed everyone, and he might be handed the ball for a 4-over period.
4. Venkatesh Iyer might be put to bat first.

5. Rohit Sharma might once again reserve his position to come and bat down the order

6. Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer will be consistently promoted to perform

7. Venkatesh Iyer might get to bowl in the power-play

8. Avesh Khan might get another chance to perform well
