Eva Longoria’s Marriage and Children
Longoria was married to General Hospital actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 to 2004.
Longoria first met Tony Parker, the San Antonio Spurs’ point guard at the time, in November 2004. They were engaged on November 30, 2006, and married in the civil service on July 6, 2007, at a Paris municipal hall.
On July 7, 2007, they married in a Catholic ceremony at the Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois Church in Paris. Longoria filed for divorce from Parker on November 17, 2010, citing “irreconcilable differences” in Los Angeles.
She demanded that her family name be restored in the divorce case, as well as spousal support from Parker. The couple created a prenuptial agreement in June 2007, a month before their wedding, and revised it in June 2009, two years later.
Longoria revealed to her pal Mario Lopez that she found hundreds of text messages from another lady on her husband’s phone. Extra identified the other woman as Erin Barry, the former wife of Parker’s former colleague Brent Barry, and reported that the Barrys were also divorcing.
Longoria canceled her presence at the 2010 American Music Awards due to her divorce. Parker filed for divorce from Longoria in Bexar County, Texas, on November 19, 2010, citing “discord or conflict of personalities,” kicking off a legal dispute about where the case would be handled.
Parker’s divorce petition, unlike Longoria’s, made no mention of a prenuptial agreement and stated that the parties would “agree on the division of their estate.”
On January 28, 2011, the divorce was finalized in Texas, the same day Longoria’s lawyer filed papers to dismiss her Los Angeles suit. She went on to say, “I didn’t realize it at the time with Tony, but I had become my version of a desperate housewife.”
Longoria announced her engagement to Mexican businessman José Antonio “Pepe” Bastón Patio, who was then the CEO of Televisa, Latin America’s largest media firm, on December 13, 2015.
