When Izzy ended their relationship in the same episode owing to his stronger affection for Stacy, Johnie begged Chris to rejoin in Episode 3.

When they attended a cast party in Episode 7, they disclosed they were back together and stated that they had rejoined after they both left The Pods. Johnie and Chris were not following each other on Instagram at the time of Love Is Blind Season 5’s launch.

Chris stated why he reconnected with Johnie and implied that they were still dating in an interview with Today in September 2023.

“When you finally meet somebody that you have that kind of emotional bond with, that you’ve fallen in love with, you don’t just mess that up because of something outside of your control,” he stated.
