The daughter of Gene Simmons is getting married.
Sophie Simmons got engaged and shared the news on Instagram on the same day she turned 30.
Sophie’s now-husband, James Henderson, poses with her in the black-and-white photo, proudly displaying the diamond ring she recently gave him.
She wrote, “This is the moment,” and tagged the city of Zurich, Switzerland, where KISS played on Thursday night as part of their End of the Road farewell tour.
Sophie posted a video of her father’s famed band singing “Happy Birthday” at the event on her Instagram Story.
On Friday, guests proceeded to congratulate the engaged pair. Sophie shared an adorable snapshot of herself and Henderson on social media, captioning it, “It’s giving fiancé.”
Until now, Sophie has kept their connection a secret. The announcement of their engagement is the first time her fiance has been mentioned on her Instagram. It’s not known how long they’ve been dating.
Other members of the model’s family have ambitious ambitions for the upcoming year, too. On Tuesday, the KISS frontman revealed that the group is extending their farewell tour to 100 additional locations.

When asked by Chaoszine when he expects the tour to conclude, the 72-year-old musician expressed uncertainty. “Honestly, we have no idea. Neither of us has ever retired before. The band, which also features Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer, announced their retirement at the time of the tour’s announcement in 2018, right before the gigs were scheduled.
To quote KISS: “Without the millions of fans worldwide who have packed clubs, arenas, and stadiums over those years, none of what we have achieved or accomplished over the last four decades would have been possible.” This will be the grand finale for our fans who have seen us live and the last chance for those who haven’t.
