In a recent interview, Jonathan Knight delivered the good news while discussing the second season of his HGTV show, “Farmhouse Fixer.”
Jonathan Knight is a married man! During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the former member of New Kids on the Block, now 53 years old, said that he had secretly wed his longtime partner, now 49 years old, Harley Rodriguez, while he was working on the second season of his HGTV program Farmhouse Fixer.
When questioned if the band on his finger indicated that he was married, he responded by saying, “We did.” But everyone just assumed that we are married, so I never answer yes or no since I don’t want to lie about it.

Jonathan went on to add that even though they had a private ceremony to exchange vows, they had not yet had a public celebration of their marriage because of the COVID outbreak. In reference to an upcoming celebration, he stated, “It’s coming.” Although there is not yet a set date for the event, we can be certain that his fellow NKOTB members, with whom he has been touring, will be there when it does take place.

“I’m going to be 54, and I never imagined in my 20s that at 54, I’d still be travelling with the New Kids on the Block and having a big TV programme on HGTV,” he added. The return to the stage drew big throngs of NKOTB fans, both new and old, and was a success.

When Jonathan isn’t spending time with his new husband, whom he’s been with since 2015, or his bandmates, he’s busy working on his HGTV programme, Fixer Upper. “It’s really thrilling,” he said about the show. “I mean, I’ve been trying to get a programme on TV for so long, and HGTV really told me we’re not going to do the celebrity thing, and I was like, ‘Oh.’ And then things change a few years later, and they’re like, ‘Yes, this is ideal,’ so it’s been amazing.”

“Fixing up houses is really a love of mine,” he said. “I would post photographs of projects I worked on Instagram, and fans would constantly ask, ‘What is your other job outside the New Kids?’ and I just think it’s so fantastic to be able to exhibit what I do, and people can watch.”
