Mappa Studio did a great job animating this episode. They had everything they needed to animate the episode. From the scene where Einar was weeping over Arnheid’s burial to the place where the fight had just ended. Everyone was really lively and enthusiastic.

The happenings of Vinland Saga Episode 21 pick up immediately following the battle between the Canute Force and Ketil. Canute’s soldiers began laying the bodies out on the ground.
Canute was advised by Folki to move into one of the farm’s homes. Canute, however, rejected his proposal and ordered that no military personnel be permitted on the estate. The soldiers would have begun looting the village as soon as they entered.
