Season 3 of Demon Slayer is well into its stride, and Tanjiro, the main demon slayer, is finally back on our TVs. Season 3 has been just as dramatic as we had hoped it would be, with the introduction of new demons and a number of terrifyingly close calls for our hero.
The highly popular series is currently adapting the Swordsmith Village arc from Koyoharu Gotouge’s original manga, which pushes the already high stakes of the show’s setting in Japan’s Taisho era to an unprecedented new level.
In episode 5, titled Bright Red Sword, Tanjiro battled a swarm of Frog Demons, and Tokito met the fearsome Gykko, two of the most memorable scenes of the season so far.

What is Demon Slayer season 3 About?
The third season of Demon Slayer is based on Koyoharu Gotouge’s To The Swordsmith Village manga.
The manga’s plot summary reads, “Tanjiro travels to a village of swordsmiths and must explain to Hotaru Haganezuka, the smith who made his sword, how it was so badly damaged.” Tanjiro’s attackers are closing in while he waits for his blade to be fixed.
In order to defeat the demons, Muichiro Tokito, the Mist Hashira, must enlist the aid of Tanjiro and Genya, two more Demon Slayers. Can they manage an enemy that can split itself into four different bodies and regenerate practically instantly? It’s bad enough that they have to face two high-level demons.

Episode 5 of “Demon Slayer” absolutely RUINED the rest of the season. astonished me to the point where I lost all ability to breathe. Gyokko was brilliantly adapted, Mitsuris OST is superb, and Solar Halo… wow. definitely one of my top three cuts here. I’m at a loss for words; 10 out of 10 won’t do.
The ongoing conflict between the Demon Slayers and the fish demons was featured in episode 5 of season 3 of Demon Slayer. Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito fought to the death with the Upper Rank 5 Demon Gyokko. Gyokko assaulted Muichiro with his Blood Demon Art, showcasing his brutal and twisted art that involved mangled swordsmiths.
Mitsuri Kanroji, the Love Hashira, arrived at the same time to rescue the village chief from the fish demons and safeguard the villagers. By vanquishing the fish demons with her Love Breathing technique, she proved her strength and will.
Meanwhile, Tanjiro and Nezuko were confronting many incarnations of Hantengu. Tanjiro was able to use the Hinokami Kagura – Dragon Sun Halo Head Dance to defeat three of Hantengu’s forms after Nezuko imbued his blade with the Blood Demon Art.
